Parsing happens in your browser — we never receive your statement PDF. When you export, only the parsed rows you can see are sent once to generate the file, then discarded. Unreadable scanned pages go to cloud OCR only if you explicitly click Send.

- Your statement PDF is parsed in your browser and never uploaded. Exports send only the parsed rows you can see, once, to generate the file — they are not stored.
- We never ask you to link a bank account or enter online-banking credentials. You drop a PDF; that is the entire integration.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers.

Frequently asked questions
Is my bank statement uploaded anywhere?
No. Digital (text-based) PDFs are parsed entirely in your browser — the file never leaves your device and we never store it. Scanned statements are OCR’d on-device too. When you export, only the parsed rows shown in your preview are sent once to generate the spreadsheet, then discarded. And if a scan can’t be read at all, signed-in users are asked whether to send the unreadable page images to our cloud OCR service - nothing is ever sent without your explicit OK.
Which banks are supported?
We ship tuned parsers for major banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, U.S. Bank, PNC, Truist, Amex, Discover) and a robust generic parser that handles almost any other bank or credit-card statement layout.
What about scanned statements?
Scanned/image PDFs are run through on-device OCR right in your browser. Reconciliation flags any row that may have been misread so you can fix it before export. If the scan is too blurry to read at all, signed-in users with credits can choose to send the unreadable page images to cloud OCR (1 credit per page) - only after an explicit prompt, never automatically.
How accurate is the conversion?
Every conversion runs a balance reconciliation: it walks the running balance and checks that debits and credits tie out to the statement’s ending balance. A green “Reconciled” badge means the math checks out; amber means a row needs review.
What formats can I download?
A clean Excel (.xlsx) workbook with a Transactions sheet and a Summary sheet, plus a CSV that imports directly into QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or Excel.
