Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of StatementSheet (the "Service"), a tool that converts PDF bank and credit-card statements into Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
For digital (text-based) PDFs, conversion runs entirely in your browser; your files are not uploaded. The Service identifies the statement format, extracts transactions, and lets you edit and download a spreadsheet. A reconciliation check helps you spot parsing issues, but you are responsible for verifying the output.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account, which you access via a one-time email sign-in link. You are responsible for the security of your email inbox and for activity under your account. Provide a valid email address and keep it current.
4. Credits and free tier
The Service offers a free allowance (a number of pages per day for anonymous use, or per month with an account) and paid page credits. Paid credits are consumed as you convert pages. One-time credit packs do not expire. Subscription plans grant a monthly page allowance for the billing period. Free-tier limits are enforced server-side and may change over time.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change prospectively. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the paid period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to process.
- Attempt to bypass free-tier limits, bot protection, or the credit system.
- Disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or attack the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Accuracy disclaimer
The Service uses automated parsing and, optionally, OCR. Results may contain errors, especially for unusual layouts or low-quality scans. The Service is provided for convenience and is not financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always verify converted data against your original statement before relying on it.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatementSheet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
